NEW! PTA T-shirts added to our online store!

We're excited to help Texas celebrate 100 years of Texas PTA this year by adding our newest T-shirt designs to our online store. This year, Texas PTA's theme is "We Want You" in PTA.


We'll be at the Texas PTA Summer Leadership Seminar this week, July 24-25 in Austin, Texas, with some of our most popular products, as well as some new ones inspired by this year's PTA theme. If you'll be in Austin, come by and see us at the Exhibit Hall.


If you're involved in PTA in a different state, check out our "WILD about PTA" t-shirts as well, or contact us about designing a t-shirt for your school. Grand Opening of Scribblin' Sisters Store!!!

Scribblin' Sisters is having a Grand Opening Celebration on May 16th, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at our brand-new store location! The store is located at 508 Lake Air Drive in Waco and will be open Tuesday through Saturdays. We are pleased to feature Courtney's, Everything Nice Boutique, Consignment Funiture Showroom, Purple Zebra, She's So Unique, N & S Embroidery, with more to come. We are so excited and hope you can join in with all the fun and shopping for our special day. There will be food, drinks, and lots to see!

Congratulations to Melissa and her husband, Art, who are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Sawyer Bryce Turnley, due on June 12th. In Memory of Bobbie Jo Marie See-Reznicek

Bobbie Jo Marie See-Reznicek, an employee and friend of Scribblin' Sisters, passed away on Friday, March 13th, 2009 due to complications from cancer. She joined her brother Otto and her nephew Matthew in heaven. She will be dearly missed, as she brought a light to the Scribblin' Sisters family and to all who met her. We will miss working along side her, miss seeing her covered in paint from painting the famous Scribblin' Sisters boards, and will miss hearing her talk about her 10-year-old son, Jared, and his allstar baseball team.

Our hearts go out to her family--her son, Jared; her fiance, Martin; her father (also our carpenter), Martin; her mother, Jodie; and the rest of the See and Reznicek families.

We are raising funds to help her son, Jared, in his dream of attending the University of Texas someday. 50% of all proceeds from our Cancer Awareness T-shirts and Decals go directly to Jared's education fund, as do 100% of the cash donations.

Wall monogram and wall quote ideas for your nursery!

I thought I'd start our first blog entry with these darling pictures sent into us by Tammy from Azle, Texas. This is her darling new baby boy's nursery! She ordered the circle monogram with overlay and hung it over her son's crib. What a great idea cropping her maternity photos as circles, too! She used our "Nothing prepared us for your Smile" quote over the closet doors

And the "Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart" quote is perfect just over an end table with some small baby toys. Also notice the cute polka-dot "fireworks" she used, that we are now carrying on our polka-dot decal page.
